Aleeta grew up in Rochester, MN and married Chris Halling in 1972 after graduation from Saint Marys school of Nursing. Aleeta and Chris spent 50 years of their lives together and raised me, Katie.
For those who knew her, you know she was a strong willed Irish woman who would let no one keep an obstacle before her. She was a pilot, a nurse, a florist, a butcher, a builder, a business woman, a wife, a friend and an amazing mother. Aleeta had an amazing sense of adventure and traveled as much as she could with Chris. Despite all the places she had been, she truly believes that "we have it all" here in our own country and found a deep love for the West and its endless beautiful mountains.
My Mom has no desire for anything "funeral related". She hopes her family will get together after a bit of time and have a beautiful party, laugh and have some fun together in memory of her instead of "sitting around being sad". She also wished that my Dad take her on one last trip West to be home forever in a special little brooke in Montana.
My Father's dedication to her means we will celebrate her when the weather breaks and he will take her "home" forever to Montana.
Wewould greatly appreciate anything you can to give in memoriam to make this happen. Hospice care, medical bills and end of life expenses can quickly overwhelm a retiree. If you choose to give it will help us ensure this beautiful life is honored in the best way.
Thank you from my heart.
