In memory of Al Palmer

My name is Kevin Palmer, and my dad is Al Palmer. I am one of his three sons as I'm a twin. My beloved father passed away on December 14, 2022, at York High School, York School District 1, while at work. He worked for the school system for over 15 years, and he was loved by the staff and the students! He was very committed to providing exceptional service toward his job! He would always do the best that he could by helping people who needed help, and he was always a great listener to all those he spoke with.

It breaks my heart as I write this because I would never have thought I'd be setting something like this up. Times are tough, as they are for everyone and especially us in our time of need as we grieve; we also have the heavy burden of future costs for everything regarding my father's death. My mom Ruthie Palmer was married to Al Palmer for 44 years and on her birthday in August, she knew Al for 47 years! My father met my mother when she was 21 so that's a very long time to be with someone and then lose them so suddenly.. We would greatly appreciate it if you could please donate to our GoFundMe. No matter how big or small, anything is humbly appreciated. All the funds will be used for the funeral cremation service, all the necessary paperwork, death certificates, etc.. My father's affairs are going to be tied up for a few months until everything can get switched over but in the meantime, bills still need to be paid.. life still goes on and I am currently unemployed. It is so difficult to get a job where I live and for the past month and a half, I haven't been myself. I don't know if I had Covid-19 but I've had the symptoms of it so I haven't been able to look for a job or anything like that. Now that my dad has passed away, it has created a horrible situation for me and my mother and brother because I don't have money to pay for anything. I can't even pay for my dad's cremation and all that paperwork that comes with doing that stuff.

Please help me so, we don't get evicted or have the power shut off or anything like that. I'm trying right now to find a job but it's incredibly difficult. I am so stressed and I'm so scared because I don't know what's going to happen to us. Never in my life have I ever begged but it's my responsibility to take care of my mother. I can't cry. I haven't even grieved for my dad yet because I have all these worries off the top of my head and I am so scared I'm not going to be able to do this...
