In Memory of Ahmed Taha: Support His Family

Donation protected
On Wednesday night, Ahmed Taha — just 19 years old — was killed by a drone strike in Tyre, south Lebanon. He was working, delivering food on his moped, trying to earn money to support his family. At 19, Ahmed was already carrying his family. Every shift, every delivery, every late night on that moped — it was for them. He was their provider. Now they've lost their son, their brother, and the income he was working so hard to bring home.

But Ahmed was more than a provider to his family. He was beloved across Tyre. As the city was being bombed, when almost no one would venture out to deliver crucial supplies, Ahmed did. When others wouldn't take the risk, he took it. Again and again — a 19-year-old on a moped, a lifeline to his community. His uncle shared that the smile never left his face, no matter what. That is who Ahmed was: a kid who moved through a city under siege with a smile, making sure his neighbors got what they needed. People in Tyre loved him because of what he did, and how he did it.

We are raising funds to help Ahmed's family through this devastating loss — to cover funeral costs and to replace, even partially, the support Ahmed was providing. Every dollar goes directly to his family in Lebanon through trusted means. If you can give, please give. If you can't, please share this widely, and hold Ahmed and his family in your heart.

With gratitude,
