In Memory of Adriana

On Sunday, May 14, 2023, at approximately 1:10am, my sister Adriana Vazquez was found unresponsive in the middle of the street by a Costa Mesa police officer. She was rushed to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. It was a regular night for her; she had gotten off her Job at Home Depot and came home to drop off her things before she headed out to do some door-dash deliveries and collapsed in the middle of the street while trying to complete a delivery; she was working hard and planning to save up for when the time came to transfer from OCC to hopefully California State University, Long Beach to pursue a career she was still figuring out. Unfortunately, this dream that she had came short and won't be happening anymore. Adriana was known by many. She was a friend, sister, and a daughter. She was loved by many, and anyone that had the chance to talk to her knew she had a big and kind heart. She helped anyone who asked her for help, no matter her circumstances. Despite the bumps in the road she encountered, she was still able to look ahead and plan for a better future for herself and our family. She was still beginning to figure out her life, but her dreams and aspirations came short at the age of 25.
Today, my family and I are asking for any kind of support to help and cover funeral expenses; my mother wishes to have my sister's remains transported to Mexico, where she will reach her final resting place.
