Addison Lee Buckingham, 19, of Wake Forest, North Carolina, passed away on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, due to injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Addison was born on January 29, 2006, in Durham, North Carolina. He was a member of the Wake Forest High School Class of 2024, where he played football and was involved in Collision and Repair. Most recently, he worked as a crew lead with his brother at Pioneer Landscaping.

Addison had an undeniable passion for everything automotive. He could often be found at car meets, sharing his enthusiasm with fellow enthusiasts.

He also had a love for animals, but above all, Addison cherished his family. He loved them deeply and unconditionally, and his bond with them, especially with his beloved nephew Oaklen, was something truly special. His presence brought warmth, laughter, and love to those fortunate enough to know him.

As we honor Addison’s life, many have asked how they can give or help. One of Addison’s deepest wishes was to leave something meaningful behind. In his memory, we are establishing a special Education Trust Fund for his beloved nephew, Oaklen.
