Addison “Addi” McBride, a bright and beautiful 15-year-old girl, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, leaving behind a grieving community and countless hearts she touched. Addi attended KTEC through 8th grade and was set to begin her sophomore year at Tremper High School. Her name, lovingly chosen in honor of Wrigley Field’s address—1060 W. Addison Street in Chicago—reflected the joy and spirit that defined her. Addi was known for her kindness, her infectious smile, and her uplifting presence. My son went to school with her and was proud to call her a friend. Her parents, Dan and Kristy, are now enduring not only unspeakable grief but also significant financial strain. Please consider donating anything you can to help ease their burden during this heartbreaking time. Your support will help honor Addi’s memory and provide comfort to the family she loved so deeply.
A visitation and service for Addi will be held on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Piasecki Funeral Home, 3720 39th Avenue in Kenosha. The service will begin at 8:00 p.m.
