In memory of Adam Harrison

My name is Char and I am Adam Harrison’s Auntie.
Adam Harrison tragically lost his life on 13 June 2025 in a tandem skydiving incident at Dunkeswell Aerodrome, Devon
Adam had built a sterling reputation as a professional instructor, ever vigilant for the safety of those in his care.
Adam was a valued member of the skydiving community, and became known for his calm demeanour, unfaltering attention to detail and warm, reassuring manner. He treated every jump as an opportunity to ensure his fellow skydivers felt confident and secure. His family take comfort in knowing that Adam would undoubtedly have done everything in his power to avert any crisis, reflecting his steadfast dedication and skill.
Beyond his work in aviation sports, Adam was passionately pursuing his studies to qualify as a Chiropractor. He spoke often of his desire to help others, not only through the exhilarating experience of free-fall, but also by restoring well-being in his future practice. Adam’s achievements to date—and the promise of those yet to come—filled his parents and siblings with immense pride.
Adam’s family extend their deepest condolences to his passenger’s family and friends.
They share in the profound grief at this double tragedy and offer their heartfelt sympathy to all who knew and loved her.
As authorities conduct a full investigation into the circumstances surrounding the accident, the family requests privacy and respect at this most difficult time. They are grateful for the outpouring of support and kindly ask that we remember Adam as a man who loved life, and everyone that he came into contact with.
We as a family have been asked to set up this page so Adam’s many friends may donated towards the celebration of his incredible life and any associated costs.
Should there be any additional money that we do not require, we as the family will decide on a suitable charity.
We will share details of a celebration as soon as we have details.
