On Sunday, 3/30/25, the unthinkable happened, and this beautiful family that we love dearly had their lives forever changed. Their precious daughter, Abigel, lost her brave battle against mental illness, and in turn, lost her life. Making this absolutely tragic loss even harder to take in, Abigel was expecting a baby boy that they had planned to name Gus. In one horrific instant, our friends lost their daughter and their grandbaby. They are in a pain like no parent should feel in their lifetime. As parents, our hearts sink and break for them; they are now living in every parent's worst nightmare. As parents who have had to bury their own child, we know what lies ahead for our friends. After reaching out and asking the hard questions, we learned there is no life insurance policy. We are setting up this GoFundMe to help raise the funds that are needed for them to lay daughter Abigel and their unborn grandbaby Gus to rest. I've seen what our community, friends, family, and even strangers can do when we all come together and give from a place of love. Please help us to take away the financial burden from our friends so they are able to just grieve the devastating loss that they have just endured. Abigel was such a bright light in this world with a smile that lit up a room. She grew up playing with a lot of our own babies and was just as sweet as they come. She had a heart of gold, and she was incredibly brave. She will forever be loved and missed deeply.
