In Memory of Abby Stauffer
Donation protected
Hello. For those who do not know me, my name is Shannon, and Elaine Stauffer is my daughters Pre-School teacher at the Grand View Hospital Children's Center. Elaine is the sweetest teacher, and her students fawn over her! In fact, my daughter constantly asks if we can hang out with Miss. Elaine!
On June 7th, Miss Elaine's daughter Abby passed away suddenly in an automobile accident. Teachers and parents alike were absolutely devastated to hear this news. Abby was 16 years old, and a cherished student and classmate at Palisades High School. Abby was active in volunteerism through the Partnering with Youth and Community. She helped with the mission trip to South America and was planning to attend a mission trip to Bali in Indonesia in July. She was an extremely creative student and expressed that creativity through music and art, with a love for photography. Her aspiration was to be a photo journalist. Abby played the alto saxophone and took up the guitar a year ago. In addition, she was on the varsity tennis team. This past year, Abby was a key participant in the Sustainable Living Expo that was held at the high school for students and the community. In addition, Abby was a familiar face to many in the community through her employment at Seraphina’s Cafe in Ottsville.
While our hearts are breaking for Abby's family, parents Jason and Elaine (Herbst) Stauffer, and dear brother Evan Stauffer, we'd like to extend a helping hand to the family during this tremendously difficult time. Please consider a donation to assist the family with any necessary expenses. Every donation, no matter how small, can contribute to the family's expenses during this time.
Thank you for taking the time to stop by this Go Fund Me page In Memory of Abby Stauffer, and your consideration in helping the family.
Jason, Elaine and Evan - Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. May the memories of Abby and the love of family surround you and give you strength in the days ahead.
