“I am strong because I was raised by a strong woman."
My Mom taught me the value of resilience and determination. She faced challenges head-on and inspired me to do the same, instilling in me the belief that I could overcome any obstacle.
She had endured a three-times-a-week dialysis treatment for more than four years due to renal failure. Despite the hardships, her unwavering spirit never faltered, and she always encouraged me to keep going even when life gets tough to chase my dreams. Her strength serves as a constant reminder that perseverance can lead to remarkable achievements, no matter the circumstances.
But in the end, her mortal body failed. She passed away on Wednesday morning, March 26, 2025 at the age of 89 yrs old. There is no more suffering to bear. I shall keep her legacy with me now that she is no longer here. I strive to honor her memory by facing my own struggles head-on, using the resilience she instilled in me to navigate life’s ups and downs.
Sometimes I wish that she could come back to life, but I don't want her to suffer again. I know that she is with me, and I will always love and miss her with all my heart.
