We are heartbroken to share the passing of a devoted wife, nurturing mother, adored grandmother, and loving sister. Selfless, and always ready with a warm meal.

For years, she worked tirelessly to support those she loved, never asking for much in return. Her kitchen was a place of comfort for anyone who walked through the door. She showed her love by making food for anyone. No one ever left the León home hungry, and no one ever felt unwelcome.

She passed away peacefully on Sept 18th. Maria Del Carmen was surrounded by her children, grandchild, and extended family. Though our hearts ache, we find comfort in knowing her spirit lives on in the kindness she taught us and the meals she shared.

We are raising funds to help cover the medical expenses that accumulated during her battle with stage 4 cancer.
