From The Martinez Family

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved father, Leroy Martinez.

Some of you may have known him as Private First Class Martinez, some of you knew him as Officer Martinez, most of you knew him as the BASS MAN or First Bass Martinez, and we knew him as DAD.

A lot of you have been reaching out to me, asking what you can do to help. I was asked to create a GoFundMe.

So I would like to start out by saying, thank you so much for all the phone calls, text messages, and flowers. It's only been a few days now that he's been gone.

Dad passed away on February 23rd, Monday at 10:45 PM. That whole day he was surrounded by family and friends.

We just wanna say thank you in advance for all your help, support, and prayers. Thank you so much for asking me to create this GoFundMe. You guys are greatly appreciated.

We know our dad was liked, loved and admired by many and will truly be missed.
