In Memory & Honor of Marisa Christine Escamilla
In Loving Memory of Marisa Christine Escamilla
My name is Katie, I am one of Marisa's cousins and I was asked to help facilitate creating this GFM on behalf of Marisa's immediate family.
On August 10, 2025, a devastating accident took the life of our beloved Marisa. She was a daughter, sister, cousin, and most importantly, a devoted mother to her five beautiful children; all still very young having her oldest that just recently graduated, and four who are still school-aged.
Marisa was a bright light in every room she entered. Her beauty radiated from the inside out and she had a heart of gold, an infectious laugh, and a kindness that touched everyone she met. Her children were her world and no matter what life through her way she loved being their mother.
One of Marisa’s proudest accomplishments was recently going back to school and earning her bachelor’s degree in psychology. She was excited about the next chapter of her life and the opportunities ahead, but while seeking new employment, she was not currently working and did not have a life insurance.
Because of this, her immediate family is now facing the unexpected and overwhelming costs of funeral arrangements, as well as the desire to provide some stability for her children during this heartbreaking time.
We are asking, from the bottom of our hearts, for donations of any amount to help us honor Marisa’s memory, give her the service she deserves, and do what we can to help her children in the days ahead. No contribution is too small, and every bit is deeply appreciated.
If you would like to share a memory, kind word, or photo of Marisa, our family would treasure it. We thank you for your love, support, and prayers as we navigate this unimaginable loss.
