In Memoriam - Support for Bob Collins and Family

Sadly, Dorothy Collins, longtime resident of Fort Myers Beach, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, February 18, 2022. Dorothy was born in Toledo, Ohio, on May 17, 1949, to proud parents John & Jacquelyn (Rasmussen) Cullen. Dorothy was a Certified Nursing Assistant and attended high school and college in Ohio before obtaining her CNA license. She leaves behind her beloved husband, Robert Collins; her son, Chad Rade; her daughter, Shauna Gilsdorf, and two stepsons, Jerid and Josh Collins.

A private committal service will be held on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, at Naples Memorial Gardens, Naples, Florida, Many people have asked how they can help Bob and his family at this difficult time. All donations will help Bob and his family towards the unexpected expenses of Dorothy’s funeral as well as other expenses incurred going forward due to her untimely passing as they adjust to life without their beloved wife, mother, and step-mother. All donations will be greatly appreciated.
