In Memoriam: R Scott Poole

This is Tim Hills, your former Football Pool Commissioner and I'm hoping to raise some money to help the family of Scott Poole. Scott Poole was an amazing human, a great father and husband and a devoted Buffalo Bills fan. He was a hard-working Location Scout/Manager and he won an Emmy for his work on Mad Men. He was also a member of our Football Pool from the very beginning, over 24 Seasons, and both he and his wife Kristin, have won the Pool multiple times. Scott was Champion again this year. Just over a month ago, we were congratulating him and not too long after, he passed away suddenly after a brief illness.

I'm still struggling to process this. We have decided to change the name of the Football Pool to the Football Poole to honor Scott and yesterday while chatting with BH and JMar, I realized just how hard this loss has hit us all.

Honoring Scott's memory is a really beautiful idea but maybe we can do something in addition to that... to help Kristin and the kids. I'm setting up this go fund me to raise whatever we can to help them during this difficult time. Also, I didn't get permission to do this and I hope to surprise the family with a visit from all of us, once we have all donations in.
