In Memory of Robert Renfro, for His Children

We have tragically lost a great one this week. Rob passed in an accident last Thursday. He is survived by his youngest daughter, Mila, and eldest son, Austin and the countless found brothers and sisters he’s amassed along his colorful life. 

Robert Renfro was forever enthusiastic about everything in his life. Always ready with a joke or a helping hand, he’d brighten anyone’s day.  His passion and zeal for his position as Chief Engineer of the Sternwheeler Columbia Gorge  was unparalleled. As an integral part of the crew and the Portland Spirit family, the ships won’t feel the same this season. He loved the outdoors and spending quality time with the people he loved. 

Rob was fiercely loyal, to none more than his family. He was so proud of Austin for starting college recently. His daughter, Mila, was his go to topic of conversation. Even people he only interacted with a handful of times could tell how in love he was with her. This fund will go initially towards the cost of a memorial. Anything raised beyond that will go towards scholarship funds for his two children. Please donate whatever you’re able to spare so we can leave these two children a legacy that their father would be proud of.
