In Memoriam of Kimberly Tyra

Dear Friends and Family,

You may know of my mother Kimberly Tyra as family, a dear friend, or by extension of myself or my brother Ezra.

Unfortunately, Kimberly passed away recently on June 7th, 2024.

As her daughter, I have started a fundraiser to help cover the cost associated with final arrangments according to her wishes. Our family was not prepared for the costs of providing memorial services as her decline was both rapid and unexpected. This left us scrambling to sort through legalities and unprepared to handle everything that comes with the sudden death of a loved one. In lieu of flowers, we humbly ask for any help you are willing to provide.

Both Ezra and I want to emphasize the fact that no one should feel obligated to make a contribution.

If we exceed our goal, any and all extra funds will be donated to Alcohol and Substance Abuse Providers of New York State (ASAPNYS) to aid the treatment and recovery for those struggling with substance abuse and alcoholism.
