In Memoriam of Jeffery Shriver
Donation protected
Jeff Shriver lost his life from a vehicle accident on October 6, 2017. He was a hardworking, loving patriarch for his family in Bottineau, ND, who now must contend with life without him.
Without their head of their household, the Shrivers will have a challenging road ahead of them, not just from their loss, but also from the sour note of economics that will come into play further down the road.
This GoFundMe fundraising is done without any participation from Jeff’s family. Meaning that they are not sticking their hand out and asking for donations. But as friends and extended family, perhaps we can offer more than just kind words. Thoughts and prayers are good and aid in soothing such sorrow and pain, but those of us that can help beyond that, should be given an opportunity to do just that for Jeff’s legacy and to ease the burden on his family as much as possible.
From my personal perspective, I lost a great friend, whom I cherished and loved, and my heart is so filled with sadness and helplessness. My tears dried up a little while ago, but I am still crying a silent scream that only I can hear. And I wish there was something I could do beyond just saying words of comfort, as my thoughts turn to those that Jeff left behind.
Please join me in honoring and helping Jeff out in any small way that you can. Money doesn’t end the suffering, the process of grieving the loss or bring about happiness. But it can help as a cushion so Jeff’s family can remove a few worries from their plates as they find their future path along in life that honors the great man that was their loving husband and devoted father.
Thank you.
