James Murphy "Murph" Tinsley helped televise all but two home games in 36 consecutive seasons of WVU football as well as film behind the scenes footage for highlight video's from the locker room and practices. Murph was a well-known figure in the WVU community. He was a St Albans, WVa native and WVU 1982 graduate. He was a beloved friend and mentor where he made an indelible impact on generations of athletes, students, and colleagues he helped grow and develop, both as humans and professionals.
We are fundraising to dedicate a WVU Football locker in Murph's name to make a direct impact on the football program and our student-athletes while honoring Murph for his steadfast dedication to the Mountaineers. Also, we will make a contribution to the MAC in his name.
