This fundraiser is in loving memory of our dear Hajji Ghulam Mohammed and Salamat Bibi — the heart and soul of our family.

To us, they were everything: a devoted Dad and Mum, and the most cherished Grandparents. He was known affectionately as Dad to his children and Deddi to his Grandchildren, while she was known as Mum to her children and Bari Amee (Nanni) to her Grandchildren. Every smile, every prayer, every act of kindness they gave, shaped the lives of those around them in ways words can’t fully capture. Together, they were pillars of strength and unity, serving as a source of endless love for so many people.

They weren’t just loved — they loved deeply too. In the way they cared, the way they listened, and the way they brought us all together, and have left a lasting imprint on all of us.

To keep them close to our hearts and In remembrance of their beautiful legacy, we are gathering support towards a lasting tribute in their honour. A meaningful initiative has been set in motion so they can be remembered with quiet reflection and prayer, allowing their memory to continue bringing comfort in the way they always did to us. Through this, we hope to continue their legacy as a form of Sadaqah Jariyah, so that the love and goodness they shared carries on. So this memorial can continue to bring blessings to our beloved Deddi & Bari Amee (Nanni), now and forever.

As Allah reminds us: “And the next life is certainly far better for you than this one.” (Surah Ad-Duha, 93:4)
