In Memorial - Brian "Fathead" McGrath
Donation protected
My brother Brian McGrath, loving husband of Annie, father of 3 children, who was fatally injured on the 16th of August 2019 while working on Kildorrery N.S Co. Cork, sadly passed away on the 22nd of August 2019.
Brian, who was married to Annie (36) for the last 10 years, has three beautiful children.
Katie, who is 14, suffers severe anxiety due to the fact that she is blind whit learning difficulties.
Kiera, who is 12, is severely autistic and non-verbal, she still wears nappies and will always continue to do so, due to this she needs 24 hour care 7 days a week.
Both of these beautiful young ladies attend St. Joseph's Holy Family School in Charleville Co. Cork.
Their only son Tyler is now 9 years old and is in full health, he is attending CBS National School in Mitchelstown Co. Cork. He is in 3rd class having received his communion in May of this year.
Due to their daddy's tragic and untimely death, Annie is now the sole carer and both mother and father of the household.
So with less than 100 day to Christmas I would like to pull together our wonderful community, of which Brian was very active in and ask you all to please make a contribution, however small it may be, to help to alleviate the financial pressures and to help overcome the pressures associated with Christmas and Santa.
Brian, who was affectionately known as "Fathead" was an amazing family man, showing his love for his family every second of every day, by holding his wife Annie's hand every time they crossed the street to keep her safe.
By taking his daughter Katie (14), who is nearly completely blind, to pick the flowers he would buy for Annie by letting her feel and smell the flowers and when she found ones that were lovely, they were the ones he would get for Annie.
With Kiera (12) its simplest to say that they were best friends, she never gave him a minutes peace, and he loved every second of it.
them we have the main man, Tyler (9) Saturdays usually started with pancakes for these two at the local cafe, it was a great start to their Saturday with fun and games for the rest of the day.
Brian "Fathead" passed away two weeks before his 40th birthday, he was a mighty man for a game of darts and pool, and never shied away from an honest days work.
We are sharing this fundraiser tonight as it marks one month since his tragic accident.
Brian, Husband, Father, Brother and Son - May you rest in peace with the angels.
