In Loving Memory of Jane Guigueno

The legacy of love and friendship from the Guigueno family of Leo, Jane and Carrie has truly been a blessing for so many of us. Each in turn has shared their lives with open arms and welcoming hearts.

Jane has settled into a hospice in Sooke. She is receiving good care and attention, to help her feel more comfortable and get support as needed. This page has been created in hopes of helping Jane and Carrie in this difficult time of transition. The hospice is not fully covered by provincial medical, the costs for fuel and meals (when you are the sole caregiver, allowing for no time to cook or look after yourself) and the eventuality of funeral and memorial services will add up quickly. In lieu of 'after the fact' flowers or funds, if we can be of help in this meaningful way in the present, it would go a long way. It would mean a great deal to Jane and Carrie and to all those who love them.

The funds raised will go directly to Carrie as the beneficiary and I will be sure to let Jane and Carrie know who the donations are coming from along with your messages.

**The goal amount is a mandatory field, therefore I have simply put in an amount. There is no penalty for not reaching or exceeding the goal. All donations will go to Carrie regardless of end result, minus fees from this site.**

As our beloved "Pearson Mom" Jane nears her time to join Leo and her ancestors, we can look back at the wonderful memories shared, the many letters and phone calls letting us know we were in Jane's thoughts and heart and reflect on the love given unconditionally. Jane has touched many lives and given so much of herself, not to mention treated many to delicious homecooked meals and chocolates!
