Tony always said, “If I can’t eat a sandwich, I don’t want to live.” That wasn’t just a joke - it was his way of saying he valued quality of life. His routines. His independence. The simple joys that made life his own.
Tony wasn’t blood, but he was family. We shared a birthday, and a bond that lasted our whole lives. He loved my mom, stepdad, and brother like they were his own, and he made us feel the same in return. He was loud, charismatic, and full of heart. Life wasn’t always kind to him, but he fought for peace and eventually found it. A small apartment he loved, a partner, his baseball cards, and a life that brought him comfort.
Tony once told me he wanted to be buried next to his mom. We plan to honor that by cremating him and placing his ashes with her. But burial costs are more than our family can manage alone, and we’re asking for help to give him the send-off he deserves.
If you knew Tony, loved him, or just want to help a family say goodbye with dignity, any donation or share is deeply appreciated.
We love you, Tony. Always. ❤️
