With a heavy heart, I’m reaching out on behalf of our family during a time of deep sorrow and love.

Our incredible mother — Josefina Moreno — is currently in her final days after a long, courageous 5-year battle with multiple myeloma, a rare and aggressive form of cancer. Her body has endured so much: hospitalizations, painful reactions to treatments, and moments where most would have given up. But not our mom. Through it all, she stayed positive, strong, and focused — doing everything the doctors asked, never complaining, and continuing to fight even when her body began to fade.

She is the heart of our family. An amazing mother to seven children and proud grandmother of 11 grandchildren, Josefina worked tirelessly her whole life to support us. She raised five of us as a single mom and faced more challenges than most can imagine — but she never let that stop her. She gave us everything she could, always putting her family first.

These days, we are doing all we can to surround her with love — spending every moment with her, taking time away from work, and making sure she is as comfortable and cared for as possible.
