In loving memory of my granddaughter

Hi, my name is Mel, and with a heavy heart, I’m reaching out during one of the most devastating times of our lives.

Just recently, our family was filled with excitement and love as we awaited the arrival of my precious granddaughter. Tragically, at full term, we received the heartbreaking news at the hospital that her little heart had stopped beating. We are now supporting our son and his partner as they go through labour, knowing they will soon meet their beautiful baby girl, but will not be able to take her home.

No parent should ever have to plan a funeral for their child. Amid their deep grief, we are trying to take as much pressure off them as possible. This includes arranging a respectful and loving farewell for their baby girl — something no one is ever prepared for, emotionally or financially.

We are humbly asking for any support to help cover funeral and memorial costs, so her parents can focus on grieving and healing without the added burden of financial stress.
