In loving memory of Abegael Uban

Let us not forget that in a blink of an eye, everything can change. So love with all your heart. You may never have that chance again.

My oldest brother Abegael's passing was tragic and unexpected. He was only 38 and still had his whole life ahead... His daughter Misha and son Chad are both still young. He's yet to see them both graduate from full time education, get full time jobs, get married and get to know what it's like to become a granddad.

His road traffic accident has left his family, friends and loved ones bereft. As well as taking care of his family, Abegael has been our aunt 'Tita Pin' full time carer for more than 10 years as she can no longer take care of herself when her husband passed away. Tita Pin has pre existing medical conditions and so without her husband, she was reliant on Abegael who would help around the house, do her shopping trips, make sure she takes her medicine as well as takes her to the hospital for her appointment and any emergencies.

He leaves behind Tita Pin who was completely dependent on him, a widow and two children. As you can imagine there are lots of financial burdens that come as a result of this. We as a family have covered most of the funeral cost so this appeal for donation will go towards helping fund a full time carer for Tita Pin during this time as well as any other unforeseen costs that his family would have to deal with in the coming weeks.
