In Loving Memory, Teri Cole

After struggling through five months in the hospital, surviving a major surgery to remove her colon, followed by two bouts of pneumonia this year alone, Teri Cole suddenly passed away at home on July 1, 2020 leaving behind her sister, Tami and her beloved dog, Ted E. Bear.
Teri had a generous heart sometimes too good for this world. She had a special connection to animals. Had her health been better, her dream was to run a sanctuary to care for animals that needed a home – especially sick and senior animals that are difficult to place. Despite being disabled herself from a list of serious and debilitating conditions that left her in constant, chronic pain, she lived her life with hope for a better tomorrow, kind words for those she encountered, warm smile and a generous spirit.
If you knew Teri and Tami, you would know that they were not just sisters but best friends and made an amazing team who took care of one another. Teri and Tami were always looking for different ways to give back to their community by helping various children’s, animal and community charities and their church. They have helped many of us in our time of need. Their father was a member of the U.S. Air Force and made his career in the aerospace industry. He instilled “Ohio-Midwest” values of love of family and country in his girls. At one time, Teri worked with her father at Rockwell International, and together they shared a love of cars. While he liked vintage cars, Teri had a love for Ford Mustangs!
We are all devastated by Tami’s loss but know that Teri is now resting peacefully, and pain free in the arms of God. She is surrounded by her parents, grandparents, her baby boy, Aiden, and the pet angels that surrounded her while she was here with us.
We would like to give Teri the memorial she deserves, to honor her memory and say our last goodbyes. She will be buried near her parents in Green Hills Memorial Park in Palos Verdes, Calif. We understand that times are particularly difficult. But we invite you to please consider helping in any way that you can to help us meet our goal. Any amount will truly help Tami provide for the funeral and burial costs.
Thank you for your consideration, your kindness, and you generosity.
