In Loving Memory of Zuri Ng Camacho

My name is Dominic Ng Camacho. I am Zuri’s older brother. I live with my mother and my brother Maddox, and I am creating this fundraiser to help support my mother during this incredibly difficult time. Many have asked how they can show their support, and this is one way to do so.

Zuri was a beautiful soul taken from us far too early. She was only 12 years old when she passed, and our lives will never be the same. She had a rare way of brightening everything she touched — a wild flame of joy, love, and energy. If I could exchange anything in this world just to be with her one more time, I would do it without hesitation.

Zuri was the youngest child and the only daughter of Mon Ching Ng and Heidie Camacho Luna, and the baby sister to her two older brothers, myself and Maddox. She was deeply loved by her family, her friends, and the many communities she was part of.

She was adventurous, energetic, and free-spirited. Zuri had a strong mind, a bold heart, and always stood up for what she believed in. She cared deeply for others and often put people before herself. She talked loud, laughed hard, and had a natural sense of humor that could light up any room.

Zuri loved dogs, art, and crafts, which were her way of finding peace and joy. She was incredibly active and loved playing sports, including basketball, flag football, softball, and volleyball. She loved the water and the beach and had a special appreciation for nature — especially the sky, sunsets, and scenic views, which she often captured in photos. She also had a love for reptiles and proudly cared for her bearded dragon lizard.

Zuri loved God, loved life, and lived it fully and fearlessly. She was born and raised in Virginia and attended H.H. Poole Middle School in Stafford, Virginia.
