Yuvelka Figueroa
April 2nd 1980-November 18, 2019

To my family & friends, sadly and tragically I announce that my younger sister, Yuvelka Figueroa, has passed away.
Yuvie, as many know her as, was a energetic young woman who fought for her daughters and community through out her many years of her advocacy. She left this world too soon and way too young and succumbing to heart failure as of this morning at 5am.
In the coming days we will be putting Yuvie to rest and am appealing to my community for support at this moment of grief. We are hoping for financial support in order to prepare for cremation services and provide her teenage daughters with some assistance to cover the costs immediate essential needs during this time period.
At Yuvelka's wishes, we will be spreading her ashes back home in the Dominican Republic and will provide a date and time for those wishing to be present in the coming days.
Yuvelka leaves behind two daughters, Sarah Genao 16 and Kayla Genao 14, a loving mother and father, Eunice Janet Velez 75, and Narciso De Jesus 77, and a brother and sister, Jose Figueroa 49, and Marisol Figueroa 52.
Peace & Blessings,
Jose N. Figueroa
