In Loving Memory of Yuriy Dolzhykov

It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Yuriy Dolzhykov, a remarkable man whose presence lit up every room and whose legacy will live on through the lives he touched.

Yuriy was a man of many talents: a poet, composer, musician, and by profession, a skilled ophthalmologist who dedicated his life to aesthetic medicine. He didn’t just help people see better he helped them feel beautiful from the inside out. With warmth, attention, compassion, and a gift for lifting others up, Yuriy made every person feel seen, heard, and valued.

Music was his soul’s language. Whether performing, composing, or simply sharing a melody, he brought harmony into the world. He lived with a fire in his heart for music, for the sea, and most of all, for people.

He was a loving son, father, grandfather, husband, and a true and loyal friend. He was a real captain, both literally and figuratively - leading with strength, laughter, and an unwavering ability to love deeply and befriend fully. His joyful spirit, boundless generosity, and infectious optimism made him one of a kind.

Words cannot capture how difficult it is to imagine a world without him. But all those who loved him will carry him forward in memory and in soul.
