In Loving Memory of William Chetto
Donation protected
William Chetto sadly passed away on February 5, 2021. He is survived by his wife and life-long partner of over 35 years, Antoinette, and their three daughters, Ebony, Victoria and Trinity.
The Chetto family were no strangers to putting up medical fights, however, 2020 proved to be the year of extreme medical challenges. In January 2020, his wife was diagnosed with breast cancer. William was by her side and cared for her during her 10 month cancer battle, same as she had done almost 20 years before when he had experienced renal failure. He had undergone several years of dialysis but was eventually blessed to receive a successful kidney transplant. He was obviously no stranger to putting up medical fights but, unfortunately, had contracted the novel coronavirus in December. His love, dedication and will to live for his family was immense and apparent. He did not go down without a strong fight. After 6 long weeks in the hospital he eventually succumbed to the deadly virus.
William will always be remembered for his kindness and eagerness to help others without anything in return. Many have stories and memories of him helping with a move without hesitation, giving solid advice based on his life experiences, always checking in just to say HI, being there for support whenever needed. He was a great role model to many including his nieces, nephews, and godchildren. Most importantly, he was a loving, dedicated husband and father. Gone now, but never forgotten.
In response to the astounding outpour from family and friends, this fund has been created to ease the financial burden of burial costs and to assist his family during this difficult transition of life without him. All funds will be directly transferred to his wife, my sister, Antoinette Chetto.
I thank you on behalf of my sister and nieces for your kindness and support during this time. - Cynthia Polanco
