Some of you knew him as Wendell, Wynn, Wang, Wanger, Wybnn, Mr. Wendell and Dodo (that’s what his nephews called him) but I knew him as Dad. To my mom he was her forever person and best friend as they were together since middle school. My father was without a doubt one of the most kind, giving, caring and honest people to have ever lived and whoever knew him knows this to be true.

On March 1st Wendell passed away very suddenly… Our lives were torn apart as it was always the 3 of us and our dog little Bear and now my mom and I are left to navigate life without him. We are trying with everything in us to keep his legacy alive and keep our auto repair shop operational.

The shop was everything to him, he and his father opened the shop in 1979 and we do not want to close the shop and let their legacy die. It’s hard enough for us to suffer the loss of losing Wendell and letting go of the shop is not an option…

We are asking for help as these next few months will be very scary and uncertain to us. All donations will be used to cover Wendell’s final expenses, his service (celebration of life) as well as the expenses to keep the shop running for the next few months and hopefully keep his legacy alive for many many years to come

I want to thank each and every one of you who listened to us on the phone over the last couple weeks. We appreciate all of the calls, cards, daily texts and care packages from each and every one of you. As well as the hugs, comfort and love you all have expressed to us in person, these things mean more to us than you will ever know.

We apologize to anyone who we have not reached out to and to any of you who had to find out this way we are just overwhelmed with grief.

Last but not least we will be planning a celebration of life sometime in the beginning of June and we hope to see each and every one of there.
