In Loving Memory of Waleed Shaban

My name is Abeer Shaban Najar, and in honor of my youngest brother, our beloved Waleed, we have set up this fundraiser for those who feel inclined to give. Donations will go toward causes meaningful to Waleed and his family: the donations will be sent to Horizons Mental Health Center in Hutchinson, KS. Donations will help continue Waleed’s legacy of faith, compassion, and care for others. Our hope is to help provide care and treatment to those who suffer from mental illness, drug addiction, etc.

Waleed Shaban, 34, a beloved son, brother, uncle, and a friend to all had his precious life tragically taken away by an act of hate and malice. Known by family, friends, and community as jovial, always the life of the party, never without a contagious smile on his face, Waleed left a mark upon everyone’s heart.

Waleed was a successful entrepreneur who was in the peak of his life and career with many dreams and aspirations he still had plans on achieving. He was an extremely caring person who loved his family dearly. As the youngest of 3 siblings, his laugh and presence will forever be missed, but his light will continue to brighten our lives.

Waleed has left behind wonderful, caring parents, 2 sisters, 1 brother, 2 brother and 1 sister in law, 5 nieces and 1 nephew, and many family members and friends
