Hello, my name is Katya, and recently I’ve lost my Father. He has been fighting stage 4 cancer, and eventually, cancer has won.
You might not have known my Dad, but if there is only one thing I can tell you about him, he was one of the truly great men out there.
He was gifted with great kindness, deep honesty, and incredible love for life. I have learned respect, dignity, and honesty from him. He taught me to be strong, to fight for what is right, and to support those in need. He wasn’t just a Dad to me and my brother - he was a loving Father for everyone who needed one. His way of spreading love was so gentle yet so powerful.
He also was an impeccable husband to my Mother. I was lucky enough to witness Dad’s last days, and till his last breath, all he wanted to do was to tell my Mom how much he loved her and to hug her.
God, I will miss him so much!
His physical body might not be with us, but I know that now my family will have a super strong, super bright light shining upon us and protecting us for eternity.
Now, Dad has transitioned into his next chapter. My main focus is to take care of my Mother and to try and love her up the way my Dad loved her. If it calls to you to support us during this challenging transitional time, I have set up this page to help us with medical and funeral expenses and cover immigration fees so I can bring my Mom to live with me in the States.
I am so very grateful for all of the support I have received. I genuinely have the most amazing community of the most caring people. Your kindness means the world to me, and I thank you for it!
