Victor Garcia was a beloved grandpa, dad, brother, and a dear friend to so many. His journey with cancer began in April 2023, when he was diagnosed with both esophagus and kidney cancer. He faced every challenge with incredible strength, undergoing treatment and surgery, and was blessed with a period of remission. In September 2025, the cancer returned, but Victor never lost his positive spirit. His unwavering faith was at the heart of his resilience, and he continued to inspire everyone around him with his hope, kindness, and courage, no matter what he faced.
Victor was a professional musician whose love for music began at the age of 5, when his mom gave the family a guitar. That simple gift sparked a lifelong passion, and Victor became a percussionist at heart, playing professionally around the world and sharing his gift with countless people. He was also a devoted Jehovah’s Witness, and his faith was a source of strength throughout his life and illness. Victor touched the lives of so many with his warmth, generosity, and unwavering belief in the goodness of others.
The funds raised through this GoFundMe will help cover Victor’s funeral costs and support his final wishes. Any support, whether through donations or by sharing this fundraiser, would mean the world to our family as we honor Victor’s life and legacy. If anyone would like to support by donating their time or resources, please reach out to his daughter Christal Garcia directly. Thank you for your kindness and support.
A heartfelt thank you to those who have donated directly, especially his brothers and sisters, and The Younger Half band.
