Dear Friends & Family,

The Granado family could use our support during this heartbreaking time. George and Heather’s middle child, Vanessa—lovingly known as Ness or Nessy—passed away on January 24 at the age of 22 after being in the hospital for respiratory failure. She spent her final months receiving care at UCSD Medical Center, where she fought bravely until the end.

This loss follows the passing of her father, George, in 2021 after his battle with cancer. Vanessa was his baby girl, and the family finds some comfort knowing they are reunited.

Vanessa was a joy to all who knew her and will be deeply missed. Donations will help cover memorial services and additional expenses. Any support is deeply appreciated.
