Dear all, my name is Harmony Phuong, daughter of Van Truong.

My mom passed away in peace on Sun 3/5/23 in the comfort of her home surrounded by those she loved most. With the help of hospice care, my mom left this life without cancer pain.

Van Truong was more than a beloved mother, but also a compassionate and hard-working nurse for ~ 25 years working at Fairview Developmental Center, Kindred Hospital, and Metropolitan State Hospital. She enjoyed being a registered nurse, even serving her time at health fairs in Little Saigon, CA.

My mom also practiced taichi at Amin Wu Taichi School, Trieu Gia Thai Cuc Quyen, and Thai Cuc Hop Nhat. She dedicated her weekends to these taichi communities and made special memories with many friends.

Van Truong's celebration of life will be a Buddhist funeral service at Peek Funeral Home on Thurs 3/16/23 at 7801 Bolsa Ave Westminster, CA 92683.
