In loving memory of Valentin Martinchenko

In loving memory of Valentin Martinchenko, the Hero of Ukraine!

Svitlana (my sister) lost her son, Valentin, who had just turned 23, in the Russian war against Ukraine.

We want to give Valentin the funeral he deserves, to honor his memory and to help his family. I am fundraising to cover the cost of my nephew Valentin’s funeral and for the support of his family (his mother Svitlana and his younger brother, who is 10 years old).

Valentin was an optimistic, happy and adventurous boy; he was inspirational and always helped everyone around him. He loved to read, attend concerts, and wanted to become a chef. He had a dream to travel and visit me as soon as the war is over. He loved his family and his country and he gave his life for them.
Valentin was a Junior Sergeant, born on April 3, 1999, Commander of the 79th separate airborne assault brigade. Valentin was called up for military service in 2016. Our HERO passed away on April 22, 2022, faithful to the military oath in the battle for his Motherland Ukraine, showing resilience and courage during the combat mission in the area of Zarichne, Donetsk region.
Eternal memory of the Hero! Glory to Ukraine! Glory to the heroes!

There are no words that can mend our hearts or describe how hardships this loss brought to his mom and all the family.

Thank you in advance for your support. Any donations to his family are appreciated.
