We are Melissa Jackson and Tyrone Howard, The parents of Tyrone Howard Jr. On September 7th, 2025, our son's life was stolen from us in a senseless act of gun violence. He was shot and killed while his baby girl was in the car. By a miracle, she survived physically unharmed but our family has been shattered forever.

Tyrone Jr. was a beautiful soul. He was a hardworking, loving and ambitious young man. An entrepreneur, a devoted father, a caring son, and so much more. He was the kind of person who left a lasting impact on everyone he met. His smile, his drive and his heart made us proud every single day.

He leaves behind two children, one born and one on the way in just two months. His fiancee, who is carrying their second child, is devestated beyond words. The traunma of this tragedy has forced her to break their lease in their first and only home they had together, unable to return to the place where her life changed forever. Due to the severity of the crime and the emotional well being and safety, she is hoping to relocate and rebuild her life where her and the children can find pece and healing.

We are asking for your support during this unimaginably painful time. Donations will go to any funeral expenses, helping support his children,and assisting his fiancee as she navigates this heartbreaking road ahead while giving birth without the love of her life by her side.

Our hearts are broken. no parent should have to bury their child. No child should have to grow up without a father. And no woman should have to raise a family while grieving her soulmate.
