In Loving Memory of Tyrone Grandy Jr.

On April 7, 2025, we tragically lost a beloved father, brother, son, uncle, teacher, and friend. Tyrone Grandy Jr. was a bright light in the Baltimore community and beyond, known for his unwavering positivity, infectious joy, and dedication to his family and students. He was an alumnus of Delaware State University and a dedicated educator at Frederick Elementary. Tyrone was a proud member of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity - Pi Omega Chapter.

Tyrone married his college sweetheart Tymeerah in 2011 and built a life with her in Baltimore. Together they have two beautiful children; a daughter and a son who were his entire world. Tyrone actively coached his son’s basketball team and enjoyed attending Baltimore Gracie Jiu-Jitsu. During this incredibly difficult time, on behalf of his family, we are seeking support from those who were touched by his kindness and generosity. Donations will help cover the funeral and memorial costs and provide assistance for his children’s educational costs as they navigate this unimaginable loss.
