In Loving Memory of Tracy Shuell
Donation protected
Hi, my name is Tina. I am fundraising for my sister, Tracy Shuell. She suddenly passed away on Sunday 10/1/2023 of a massive stroke. She was only 49 years old. She has left behind her husband Tim, whom has severe rapid declining frontotemperal lobe Dementia and is currently in a nursing home. Any funds from him are absorbed by the home for payment of his care.
She barely had any life insurance policies to help with any costs of her afterlife care. Her 3 sons have absorbed this responsibility at the young ages of 24, 23 and 21.
At this time we do not know where the boys and my Mother will have to live. See my sister was already taking care of our Mother as well.
The mortgage is so far behind it is almost impossible to come back from. This is due to losing Tim and all his income so suddenly. He was the main income of the entire home as Tracy was a stay at home Mom until the unexpected health decline of her husband Tim.
At this time we have no idea how much is needed. At this time we know we need 3400.00 just for the costs of cremation, which is what she wanted.
I would like to share a beautiful post from her job at Carlisle Cares as it warms our hearts to know she was so loved by all.
The dictionary defines the word sigh as
to emit a long, deep, audible breath expressing sadness. Someone on staff asked me today if I was aware that I kept sighing I was not aware, but I guess it was my bodies unconscious way of trying to deal with the lose of a dear friend and coworker. Tracy Shuell...
Tracy had almost 10 years of service to those in need at Community CARES. When I first met Tracy she was an overnight volunteer. She said she wanted to do that because she and her family were very close to needing a shelter at different times in their life and she wanted those in need to know someone cared about them. No matter the day she gave freely of her time to keep a safe place for others to go.
Tracy, her husband Tim and their three boys Christopher, John and Nathan volunteered
a lot through the years even after Tracy joined CARES staff. They all have such big hearts.
As a matter of fact Tracy and I discussed those times just last Friday and we laughed at some of the unusual experiences we have had through the years. We made plans for some new procedures we planned to begin work on the next Monday, but it was not meant to be as Tracy passed Sunday, October 1.
Her sudden passing will cause many
of us to sigh without even realizing as our minds remember the memories of our friend and college. Tracy's giving of herself to others has meant a lot to many. Details of her service to come soon.
And if you think about it please keep her family, CARES staff and residents in your thoughts and prayers as we try to fill an unfulfillable void she has left behind. Tracy you are loved and will be missed.
Thank you for taking the time to read this. Our hearts are heavy.
All funds will go towards what is needed for the afterlife care of Tracy Shuell, and to help her boys move on the best way possible.
