In Loving Memory of Torrie and Landon Baldwin

On Sunday, June 8th, while taking off from the San Diego airport, Torrie and Landon Baldwin, along with four other passengers, tragically crashed into the ocean just a few miles off the coast of Point Loma. Heartbreakingly, all six lives were lost. The news has shaken all of us who knew and loved them, family, friends, coworkers, and so many others touched by their light.

Torrie and Landon were proud and devoted parents to two young children. Their lives were centered around their growing family. Everything they did, every dream, every plan, was for their kids. Their loss is unimaginable, especially for the little ones left behind who now face a future without the love and presence of their incredible parents.

Torrie had a spirit that lit up every room. Her laugh was the kind you couldn’t help but join in with, always full of joy and life. She was the heart of every gathering, always showing up for others and finding ways to make people feel seen, heard, and loved. Her time coaching the local high school tennis team brought her so much pride and purpose, and her presence in the community was truly irreplaceable.

Landon was the kind of friend who always made time, no matter how busy life got. He worked hard, dreamed big, and believed in lifting others along the way. Whether you knew him as a father, a husband, a colleague, or a friend, you knew him to be someone dependable, generous, and full of quiet strength.

Together, Torrie and Landon were a team in every sense, kind, loving, energetic, and committed to making a good life for their family. They brought out the best in each other, and in all of us.

This fundraiser has been created to support their children and close family in the days, months, and years ahead. The road forward will not be easy, but with help, we can offer some stability and care for these children who now need their village more than ever.
