It is with unimaginable sadness that we share the sudden loss of Tom Durkin, who unexpectedly passed, Friday, December 12th.

Those who were lucky enough to know Tom, know he was one of the good guys, a devoted husband, loving father, cherished son and brother, and one-of-a-kind friend.

Tom and Rach have been together since they met over twenty years ago at Eastern Illinois. They have three beautiful children: Laney (8th grade), Tommy (7th grade), and Kenzie (4th grade). Tom built his legacy on the South Side as the family guy, a selfless guy who was always helping someone out or lighting up the room with his smile and music.

We know everything he did was for Rachel and the kids, and we feel the best way to honor him in this loss is to ensure Rachel and the kids are taken care of while they worry about healing as a family. All funds donated here will go directly to Rachel, Laney, Tommy, and Kenzie.
