In loving memory of TJ Doherty

It is with extreme sadness that we announce the passing of Thomas Joseph Doherty (TJ).  TJ was a bright light in this world and will be deeply missed. Tj loved life and livened up any place he dropped by with his smile, laugh and great conversation.  He loved everyone’s kids as if they were his own and was Uncle TJ to so many. He coached and was vice president for Stratford Baseball Association and was involved in many other organizations in town. Tj was proud to have grown up in Stratford and had many lifelong friendships that he never let fade away. Anyone who met Tj became an instant friend of his. Tj was a generous man who would drop anything he was doing to help his friends or family. He was the first to carry someone else’s burden, and make their life a little lighter. He was a dedicated father and loved his children, Alex and Collin with all of his being. To be a little bit like TJ, we hope to lighten the load for his wife, and help prepare his children for a stable future without their Dad.
