In loving memory of Tim Harris Sr

It is with great sadness and a heavy heart to announce the passing of Tim Harris Sr. Tim unexpectedly passed away and was found in bed this week. Tim lived his life for his children, family, giving back to the youth, and of course the Jets. 

For those who knew Tim, knew he would do anything for anyone at any time. He spent most of his adult life coaching kids in football and baseball around the Bay Area.  He was so passionate about coaching and making a positive impact, that he made a selfless decision to stop his 9-5 job so he could fully commit to the youth and put more time into coaching.  Tim wanted nothing more than for each kid to be the best version of themself.  He wanted to provide an atmosphere and opportunity for each kid to have more than he ever did as a child. 

His passion for sports allowed him to be more present in the community, where many of us were touched by his kindness, love, and humor. His laugh and sense of humor was contagious and he was always the light of every gathering. 

Tim’s unexpected passing has put an extreme hardship on his wife, Kari, and their 4 children for not only unexpected funeral costs but also the costs of daily life.  If Tim has touched you or your family and you are able, our family would love any support to help Kari and the boys during these unexpected hard times.
