In Loving Memory of Tilak Patel

Dear friends & family,

Tilak (Kirit) Patel from Atlanta was a loving son and brother, a dear friend, and an enthusiastic colleague. Each of us have our fondest memories with Tilak, and we have all felt his love, passion, dedication, enthusiasm and so much more. Each of these qualities made Tilak the wonderfully special individual we honor and celebrate.

No matter what Tilak had going on at work or school, in his life personally, or with the tremendous service he offered his Gurus - Pramukh Swami Maharaj and Mahant Swami Maharaj -, he never missed an opportunity to step up and help anyone who came his way. His selflessness was truly remarkable.

While Tilak achieved so much at a very young age - with people often left thinking Tilak’s maturity and determination likely placed him 10 years older than he actually was -, Tilak’s each and every decision and action was never for himself; rather, it was for his family, his friends and loved ones, his colleagues, and his Gurus.

As we all celebrate Tilak’s life and impact, many of us wanted to do our part in helping his family during this difficult time.
