We are completely devastated to have learned about the sudden and unexpected loss of Thomas Gomez, 28 years young.

Thomas passed away unexpectedly on May 24, 2022. Anyone that knew Tommy, knows he was an incredibly kind soul who would give the shirt off his back to help anyone. He dedicated his life to BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu). He taught many younger students while remaining a student himself. His love for this sport remained even after becoming a traveling referee.

When Thomas was not practicing or teaching Jiu Jitsu, he could be found cooking up delicious food for his family and friends. His other passion was his 2 cats, Luna and Nova.

Any funds raised will be used to help alleviate the unexpected costs that come with a funeral service and arrangements. If there are any funds remaining, they will go to Thomas’s mother and 2 brothers to offset any additional expenses that may arise from this tragedy.
