Ted Lawrence DeVries Obituary

Hi, my name is Brittnee DeVries and I am the daughter of Ted Lawrence DeVries. My dad was a kind, loving man and loved by many. On Saturday, 11/6/21 I received a call from my two older brothers TJ DeVries and Richie DeVries that our dad had passed away unexpectedly. Our father loved us very much and all his family and friends. He worked at Delta Airlines for 46 years and just retired July 31st, 2020. He started at the age of 18 and made so many memories and friends along the way. We know how much he loved all his coworkers and the customers. He was always raving about work and the people he met.

We want to remember him and the impact he made by giving back to the employees at Delta as well. Instead of flowers we have asked people to make a donation in our fathers name to the American Red Cross or a charity of their choice. However, we would really like to make a large donation in his name to the Delta Care and Scholarship Fund. This fund is a complete employee/retiree funded program that helps Delta employees in need or to assist with furthering their education. We would like to collect donations and make one large donation in our fathers name to the fund. Please feel free to reach out with any questions you may have.
