The lovely couple you see on the cover photo of this fundraiser is Tasha Thoits and her father Mike Thoits. No parent EVER plans to lay their child to rest, but that's exactly what Mike is doing today. Yesterday he got the earth shattering news that his talented, sweet, beautiful, loved by many, wonderful daughter left this world in a tragic car crash.

My daughter was Tasha's best friend and in the last 24 hours I am finding out just how many people actually knew and loved the young woman that called me mom for so many years. It's crazy how our lives are so intertwined and I'm humbled by how many of my friends knew and loved her that I wasn't even aware of. So with that being said, I am coming to all of you, as my friends, as Tasha's friends, as Mikes friends, please, let's help ease this mans burden, even just a small amount.
