In Loving Memory of Tammy Odell

This page is setup in loving memory of Tammy Odell following the tragic passing on Tuesday 9th February 2021.

Tammy was a loving mum to her daughter Schakira, a great friend to many and a wonderful colleague. Family was so important to Tammy no shift would go by without her mentioning what Schakira and Eche were up to or how her Dad was.

Anyone who had the pleasure of meeting Tammy knew she was a great friend, the life and soul of many work parties singing Ashanti, the biggest support and a fantastic member of the NHS. She first joined ward 37 in 2015 and most recently was working with the Tissue Viability team at UHL but also banked on many wards in UHL and was loved by many colleagues.

Tammy worked so hard always going the extra mile for patients and their families. She would always get so many mentions in thank you cards / letters. She made everyone laugh and would speak her mind and if things weren’t right at work.... You would be told that “it’s bang out of order!”

All funds raised will be given to support Tammy’s daughter Schakira in what is an incredibly difficult time and help her family give her the funeral she deserves.
